Do tea or coffee affect you in weird ways?

Post Body

Some good brands of black tea cause dpdr, some black crappy ones energise me nicely with just a mild headache. There’s that one brand of black tea my parents like in particular, which repeatedly makes me feel depressed for several hours after. I have a few brands of green tea which work just as they’re supposed to- just boosting energy, but then some equally good ones which I legitimately can’t drink because they make me dissociate so bad I start losing memories/making unacceptable mistakes at work. Same with coffee. It seems totally unrelated to how expensive the drink is. It’s just a goddamn mess.

Does anyone relate?
