Ahoy hoy everyone!
To start off, i'll provide a link to a great post about Layle and how his specific chase mechanic works: Click Here
With that out of the way, I will describe two pertinent things that apply to all of my questions. Layle's "Field Burst" ability has a chance to proc a debuff called "Gravity Down" which reduces the enemy's current and max "Chase HP" by 50% (e.g. before debuff if a Boss's Chase HP is currently 34/40, it will reduce it to 17/20). It also reduces your current "Chase HP" pool done by 50% (e.g. the two preceding rounds the enemy was brv hit 2 times, after proc your "Chase HP" pool done would be 6, because of proc it would be reduced to 3). With that being said I have a few questions that maybe someone with more understanding of the deep game mechanics could answer.
- If "Gravity Down" is applied again after it is already applied to an enemy, does it further reduce the max "Chase HP" by 50%? What about the current "Chase HP" (e.g. 17/20 to 9/20)?
- If the "Gravity Down" debuff is removed (via either debuff overflow or enemy's ability to remove debuffs), i'm pretty sure it set the enemy's max "Chase HP" back to its default value, but what does it do to the current "Chase HP" (e.g. pre buff removal 17/20, post buff removal 17/40)?
- If the answer to the latter part of 1 is no (it does not further reduce current "Chase HP" by 50%), should you avoid using "Field Burst" after "Gravity Down" has proc'd due to the reduction in "Chase HP" pool by 50%?
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
