What does everyone think of being able to stack upgrade material when upgrading (ala FFRK) compared to the current method of how we do it?
Does anyone else find the current method to be incredibly tedious, or is it just me?
Now, I'm not talking about using 2* or 3* relics and the upgrade path, I mean just straight up upgrade mats. I'm not talking about how much it costs, but just how time consuming upgrading weapons are.
Current implementation is locked to upgrading items at 10 selections at a time. You can currently hold 999 upgrade materials that do not count against your bag space, though it's in your bag, looking visually at least like it takes up space. It also causes the game to need to render hundreds of similar icons (once it gets to that point).

Wouldn't instead it be more efficient from a user standpoint and a programming efficiency standpoint to display the upgrade materials in a stack, where you can click on all your 2* stash and use as many of them as it would take to level them up, whether that's all of them, or some combination of multiple levels of materials. The game already does this, but limits you to ten merges at a time. If the content was in a stack, this would be a lot more viable and you could do mass merges of materials.
For an example of how FFRK does it (another SQEX game) see image below:

Does anyone have any other suggestions for this, or maybe better ones? I'd love to hear it and to have some discussion on this sore topic for me :)
