Growing up my family would go to Disney world almost once a year for week long trips. My dad being my dad would always find some of the weirdest little adventures from finding Tom sawyers paint brush on Tom sawyers island to saying a “secret word” that changed weekly to the captain of the ferry ride to magic kingdom to let us “steer” the ferry. With that being said there’s one specific secret adventure I remember that took place at Epcot at the spaceship earth ride. After finishing the ride my dad navigated our way around the chaotic exit of spaceship earth from screen to screen looking for a specific door. Once he found the right door a screen popped up with a touch screen key board. He typed in a password and a set of sliding doors off to our left opened. He hurried us into the small space where we went up a set of stairs and came to another lock door with a numbered pad lock, my dad entered a number combo and the fogged glass door became clear and the door unlocked. We entered and were welcomed by a older lady that was excited to see us and told us some history about the ride as well as the partner company that was hidden in the ball. We got some refreshments and hung out in the A/C cooled room and when we were ready to leave the nice lady asked if we wanted to go on the ride. Of course we said yes and she guided us to some stairs that took us to front of line and we got on and enjoyed the ride for a second time. That was almost 10 years ago and I was wondering if anyone else had any crazy adventures like that?!? Reason I ask is my son is finally getting to an age we’re he can experience the magic like i did as a kid. like my father, I want to show him every hidden ride, gem, adventure I possibly can
