Often times I feel like cast members and all that they do for the company can be overlooked or forgotten. My family and I are big Disney people and we have had some downright magical experiences with cast members in the past. Please share your best experience with a cast member below and hopefully some cast members may find our love and gratitude for them!
I've had many experiences with cast members, but one of my favorites was when I was at Epcot for spring break 2022 from college with my family. Normally we try to wear something similar to the parks each day so we look nice in photos and due to the fact that UTK (university of Tennessee Knoxville) had a SEC champion game for men's basketball we had chose to wear some UTK gear. We were in line for spaceship earth and there were five minutes left of the ballgame. The woman who was counting the guests to go inside greeted us with a big "Go Vols!" and we got talking about how she actually went to UTK during the 80s. She was so sweet and we gave her game updates while we waited for the line to move. The minute we won the ballgame we all cheered. She was softly singing Rocky Top as the line moved forward. I know it wasn't much, but for this college girl's little orange heart it was magical. I later ran into a boy who was on the college program in the China pavilion who went to UT and he gave us a free cookie as we talked about our hope to see our football team hopefully turn around someday soon (what little we knew at the time haha).
