Hello all,
I've read many articles about the common things to look for when trying to identify if a pin is fake. Below I've included an eBay listing I was considering buying as the pin is highly sought after and it seemed like a fair price. The front doesn't have too many red flags other than the noticable color change between photos but that could just be the lighting. I messaged the seller and asked if he could provide a picture of the back because that's something that can be a red flag if the pattern isn't correct or non existent when it should be. The seller replied and said they had been doing this for 15 years and never provide back photos, and suggested I use their seller rating as the proof of legitimacy. Am I wrong for wanting to see the back when most other listings for the same pin do include the back photo? What do you think of the listing, is there a chance it's fake? Thank you for any advice.
