Okay so I know Disyte has it's issues with favoring p2w players however, as a (mostly) p2w player I still find joy in the game because I am aware that the game is p2w.

The video is amazing as it give a huge context on why the game is formatted this way. It splits spending money on gaming based on the attitude that asian/eastern gamers "work hard/play hard" and the attitude is that spending money to win on games is somewhat the meta in those communities, unlike western gamers where we want to spend as little as possible for as much as possible. This video helped change my mindset and realise how these sorts of games not only make money, but retain their fan base.

Dislyte is a gacha for ffs, the gambling mechanic is litterally baked in from the start, it isn't hidden. It's just annoys me that decent reddit content is being drowned out by people moaning that everything is p2w. Now, I've been playing forut 260 days and the game is still based. The championship annoys me due to the point requirement but not every event is gonna be a winner. Constructive criticism is good, but when I see people getting annoyed that got a shimmer div it's like.... well you have that for the future now!

Fyi I've only ever spent money on the S1 anomaly, ritual fund and extra nexus for stamina for yamoto championship (I didn't even get the shards needed in the end so was a waste of money). I've never had a pvp advantage in my spending habits. Spent less than like £70 max which is cheaper than some AAA games that have given me 10x less play time than dislyte.

Knowing where to draw the line is important and I am deffo not saying the game is perfect. PvP is still fastest Tiye/Clara and Anna-Off, I'm dying for a rare/epic only battle mode and generally more ways to get resources but this is the game we are collectively playing, if you don't like the game you can just leave. The devil are still doing content, changing existing content and doing story.

Sorry for the rant, I just think that this sub is cool and people keep moaning about, what I would argue, the main mechanics of the game - gacha/gambling/whale appealing because let's face it, every gacha serves the whales. Dislyte is a good collectathon for p2w people as well, I won't be spending money on anything in game anymore that isn't 100% guaranteed.

Also ffs devs please add discboom as an esper.
