Any suggestions in improving in this mode? Can't break the EX barrier

My team was; Leora, Gaius, Chloe, Ethan, and Yun Chan. My fastest was Ethan, and then leora and Gaius. It’s important that if you have Gaius, he doesn’t be faster than Leora since he takes 2 turns for an attack. Ethan really pulled through with his s2 for me.
