So. I'm very new to Disgaea. I've been chipping away at Disgaea 1 Complete on my Switch, just got Flonne in the party and generally have two main questions right now with several mini-questions layered in there:

1). When I unlock a new class, when should I make a new character with that class? Should I do it right away? Should I do it when I have the mana to make them a genius? Will I always have to raise them up from level 1? I'm assuming there's away to fast track that since Disgaea has a reputation for big level caps and big numbers.

2). How much time should I spend in item worlds? If I exit an item world, do I have to start from floor 1 again, or is there some kind of checkpoint system?
