I just picked up Disgaea 1 Complete on Switch and I'm currently at the very start of the game, grinding item world after being the frozen area. I've been enjoying it and definitely wanna given the rest of the games ago.

Generally, I'm big on having context so I like to play all the main games in a series, but I'm getting a feel these are games with a potential for burnout if I marathon them back-to-back and, more importantly, I've noticed that 2 and 3 are unavailable on Switch, with a PC por for 2 seeming to be the most modern version and 3 only being availble on PS3 and PSVita, which are both systems I own but it'd be a hassle pulling them out and dusting them off.

So, to people more experienced, when I wrap up the first game, should I play 1 and 2 or just skip to 3 Complete?
