Just got the game, havent played Disgaea in years and I'm eager to get back in. I'm making characters and trying to get them as perfect as I can, this has always been one of the most fun parts for me. I suspect I already know the answer why, but the dubbed voice options for generic characters seem to be incredibly lacking, with several only including 1 or may be 2 grunt variations that don't have anything to do with the personality name. It almost feels like a bug, but just time or budget constraints are what I'm leaning towards. Naughty clergy and Ditzy kunoichi feel like risque options that they were willing to just skip over. Whatever it is, it's disappointing. I don't know if I've just gotten old or if NISA's localisations have lowered in quality over the years. No hate to the team, I'm sure it's a complicated issue. Switching to Japanese voices is fine with me, but the character shouts aren't subtitled and that presents its own problem.

Curious on people's thoughts, or if I'm really the only person this bothered by it.
