Is it me, or do people hardly ever blame themselves?

Post Body

On Reddit forums, I see a lot of people posting about their problems and stuff, and they make it seem like it's everyone else's problem except them. That they are completely innocent. Sometimes, the commenters would criticize the OP or invalidate the OP. But sometimes, the commenters would actually validate the OP.

I have yet to see someone who actually posts on Reddit or elsewhere, blaming the problems on themselves, and the commenters would actually support the poster. On the other hand, such a subreddit can quickly become problematic because too much self-blame can lead one to experience a lot of suicidal thoughts to the point that one is convinced that one is completely useless in society, thus death is the only option to escape one's situation. That kind of subreddit is going to get banned really quick!

So, it may be a pain in the neck to see someone blaming on their boss or significant other or spouse or parents for stuff. But at least, they are not suicidal. So, that's good.
