Why are eating disorders becoming more prevalent in teens/young women faster than pre-COVID?
Iām noticing (mostly on TikTok) more & more videos discussing having eating disorders, ED memes, etc. What caused the spike? Covid & Chloe Ting workout, "fittok"? These very niche videos have hundreds of thousands of likes. Or does this go along with the whole fear-mongering health stuff?
EDIT: Social Media is just what brought my attention to it, I know about algorithms, but in general, the numbers ARE rising statistically since COVID
