There had been news reports about some kind of biological attack, the rumour was that some crazy scientist had released some kind of nanites or nanobots into the population. I hadn't really been paying attention to the news story on the TV. It seems that whatever was released causes the infected person's DNA to be re-written and their body, and personality to be re-programmed, even being programmed with new skills or languages.

They would essentially become a whole new person, you could get older or younger, change gender, change race, sexual orientation, it really seemed to be random with the whole process taking around 2 weeks to take place. After the change you would never know they had been someone else to start off with. It seems to be fairly random who it affected, apparently only people with certain genetic markers.

It lay dormant in most people's system until they encounter another person with the genetic markers. They then scanned that person and began their processes changing the original 'host' to match what they deemed the perfect partner for them. Both would begin to develop feelings of attraction for the other, even before changes had begun. By the time they were complete both would be totally devoted and in love. Only 1 in 200,000 people were vulnerable.

So you would need to be quite unlucky to be one of the people affected. Today isn't my lucky day.

At the beginning of the RP I'd be a 25 year old guy, a little nerdy but not too much. Doesn't date a lot either.

You'd be a guy I know or meet - but I would prefer you to be a similar age to what I will eventually become, so we 'match'. As I change we'll bond and get together. I'll be affected by these nano-bots and I would become a heterosexual woman - I am open to becoming any age between 25-55.
