Embark with me on an interstellar odyssey as we slip the bonds of earth, traversing realms beyond Sol. Sci-Fi is an absolute favorite genre of mine, and I have a love affair with the many of the pre-established franchises of the genre like Star Wars and Mass Effect. I also really enjoy creating new worlds of our own design. Picture a vast, unexplored galaxy where the echoes of adventure resonate through the cosmos. Whether it's the allure of a galaxy far, far away or a 1950s-inspired Sci-Fi Feature, our narrative unfolds against the backdrop of celestial wonders and uncharted frontiers.
Against the backdrop of well-known and pre-established universes like Mass Effect or Star Wars, or the uncharted territories of our own creation, let's sculpt a saga of our own design that fits to our respective tastes. Dive deep into the lore, or amend the fabric of reality to accommodate our shared visions for the universe.
Perhaps a more grounded setting steeped in our own universe is more to your liking? A shot back through time with me, where historical backdrops serve as the canvas for our narrative tapestry? Immerse yourself in epochs not our own, where the allure of forbidden love in the Victorian Era, the harsh realities of hurt/comfort on the American frontier, or the intrigue of enemies turned lovers in the midst of the Cold War could be explored?
Picture an Edwardian Period Slice of Life, where the nuances of everyday existence unfurl against the backdrop of a bygone era. These historical settings, whether inspired by real events or even the results of an alternative timeline offer a myriad of options for intriguing and evocative storytelling.
I do have an enjoyment for military sub-themes, and characters shaped by conflict. While not an absolute requirement, their inclusion usually provide a good avenue for depth and complexity to both these settings.
A minor side note I'll mention: I really enjoy the unorthodox, and my tastes are leaning towards exploring more of non-traditional storylines. Laced with darker and more unique undertones, infused with more taboo trends and themes, if your desire is to venture beyond conventional limits and delve into the intricacies of prohibited realms, I would definitely be interested in hearing you out in the DMs.
Greetings! And Congrats to you for having journeyed through this introduction, I'm Jolly—a 21 y/o guy hailing from the US, nestled within the CST timezone. With a decent little five-year tenure in the realm of roleplaying, I proudly identify as a writer of semi-literate to literate caliber.
Typically, my responses span 3-5 paragraphs in the third person, although I am adaptable and can match my partner's pace. While post length is not a rigid requirement, I do lean towards favoring quality over quantity.
