So to preface I’ve always been the type of gamer to abuse savescumming, going all the way back to the KoToR games and more recently with games such as Divinity OS2. I just can’t help wanting to have the best possible outcome for my character.
That approach seems to be antithesis to the experience of Disco Elysium as there really is no best possible outcome and it seems even when checks fail that can lead to new and interesting developments.
Yet I still can’t help savescumming checks on my first play through and I think it’s adversely affecting my experience.
Any advice from fellow serial reloaders as to how to break the habit?
