I just passed the 40 hour mark on steam and wanted to leave some thoughts.
Post Body

Bugs?

  • Partially completed objectives in stopwatch mode should count towards victory. In one game I played neither team completed all the missions but the enemy won. My team bombed crate B but not A, and the enemy team bombed neither. BUT they won because they completed the first objective faster than we did.
  • The daily missions donā€™t count the relevant XP for both halves of stopwatch. This may have been fixed on the Jun 10 patch.

Suggestions, in order of importance.

  1. Cases.
    • Option to buy multiple with credits. We have an option for multiple elite cases, why not do the same with credits for the regular cases.
    • Option to open all cases at once.
    • Reduce the number of clicks between purchase and open. Maybe add a toggle button to ā€œauto-open casesā€ on/off at the case purchase screen.
    • Bundle values are inaccurate: Proxy costs $5.99 (C30,000) and Rhino costs $9.99 (C50,000). Why do the Proxy Bundle and Rhino Bundle both cost $19.99 (C100,000)? (/u/Qromium states that bundles only give cards, not mercs)
  2. Add a bug report or official feedback option in game. Anonymous or private feedback would remove some of the sycophants and trolls that litter forums (and Reddit).
  3. Chat mute and mic mute (/u/flying_ferret explains in comments) for individual players. Toxic people donā€™t make a toxic community if the community has a way to ignore them.
  4. Limit of advance. Occasionally we would get so far overrun that we were being obliterated at our spawn. If you could add some type of defence at the spawn point, like TF2 and DotA2. I just want something to put a limit on how aggressive and humiliating players can be.
  5. Solo play. I want to play a map and practice jumps or go exploring. These are vibrant and elaborate maps, but I canā€™t experience it without other people.
  6. Options for quick connect. I love your quick connect feature, but I prefer teams of 5-6 as opposed to 7 and 8 man teams so I will often leave the lobby of 16 player maps. Could you add an upper limit selection on total players?

EDIT

Sort teams voting. I was on a losing team that was 5 v 6. We were getting stomped and a sort by skill vote was called (F4 i think). We got 5 votes yes to 1 vote no, but we didn't have the majority vote so it didn't sort by teams.

I really enjoy this game. I've sunk SOOOO much time playing and opening cases. I really do like being in on the start of something that has so much potential.
