I am 18 and all participants and characters must be 18

Hey! I’ve been getting back into cyberpunk with the new anime released recently and wanted to try and find some rp to have more of it! I tried to see about starting a ttrpg but got not much in the way of responses, so now I’m hoping to just at least get some roleplay going!

I don’t really have anything super specific in mind story wise, and I figured we could come up with that together, so we both can enjoy it as much as possible! As for the setting I was thinking more along the lines of around 2077 since that’s what I’m most familiar with, but other things could work! Also the world should be very mature, nothing has to be explicitly roleplayed super gorey or sex filled, but it’s got to exist in the world, even in its only showed in people hanging out on street corners for work.

Now for my character I was planning to play as Alyssa Brooks, a netrunner that grew up in a nomad family before she was left behind during a smuggling operation into corporate territory that went wrong. Her family had been forced to leave the area for a while to avoid the heat and she didn’t have a way to get out of the area easily, so she was stuck.

She slowly managed to get used to living in the city, using her experience with tinkering with cars and the like to get by, while also picking up net running, finding it simpler to learn with her technical knowledge she already had.

By now she’s content to stay out of the family for the most part and just does odd jobs around the city for a living, looking to make her way up in the world.

Now as I said the actual plot is a bit flexible, so we can talk about that if you’re interested! Next up is a sample of my writing for you to see!

Sample: *The light buzz of neon lights droned on through the run down apartment, an almost ever present sound in this part of the city that Alyssa paid no mind to as she stepped out of the shower. The steam slowly wafted through the open window on the other side of the apartment, about 8 feet away, as she gathered up her clothes to get ready for the day.

Ten minutes later she was stretching and meandering out of her apartment wearing loose black cargo style pants with a similarly black bodysuit over her upper body, slim with gaps on her sides and shoulders, ending with short sleeves but continued by gloves right after. Over the ensemble was a large shawl with a cargo pant like material, covering her upper body completely.

The tall woman made her way through the short hallway out of the apartment building she lived in and out onto the streets of Night City, taking a deep breath of the unpleasant air as she started towards her usual place.*

And I think I’ll leave it there for now! A bit of a simple one but figured I’d go with just something relatively quick for this sample! I hope you still think it’s alright though!
