Hey hey hey lovely people of the internet! I’m Ivy and I’m posting on here once again and this time I’m hoping to get an FF14 roleplay going, as just a bit ago I finished Endwalker which has put me in tears too many times, and made me want to do some more rp haha.

So for what I’m looking for exactly, is honestly pretty flexible. All I’m adamant on is that I play as my WOL! Now that doesn’t mean we have to actually follow the canon game and make her an actual warrior of light, as I do have a separate option for her backstory I’ve made up some, but I’ll still be playing as the actual character either way!

To describe her some, she’s an Au’ra, specifically Xaela, dancer that I can share quite a few references of if need be! Her basic backstory has her hailing from Othard, specifically a small village within Doma. She was forced to flee by her parents when the empire invaded though, and instead sought out refuge in Limsa Lominsa. Now this is where things split up depending on if we go canon story wise or not, so I won’t go on further here haha!

Now as a small sample of my writing ability, here’s a small tidbit based on when she first arrived in Limsa from her backstory!

*The creaking of wood and the sound of the waves filled Idy’s ears and her eyes cracked open. Above was the wooden planks of the upper decks floor, also serving as the ceiling to the cargo hold where she was residing at the moment. Slowly, she pulled herself up to sit proper, her back rivaling the sound of the wooden ship in its stiffness.

The interior of the ship was dark, unlit for the sleep of the people all around, easily a hundred in number cramped into the tight prison of planks. The majority if not all were refugees like her, fleeing from Doma now that the Garlean’s had invaded, knowing the inevitable and not wishing to suffer in their homeland.

Unlike most though, Idysela hadn’t chosen to leave entirely on her own, instead having been ushered away by her parents, wishing the best for their daughter. She’d not have stayed quiet with Garlean rulers and obeyed if she’d stayed behind, so they wanted her away to stay safe.

Sighing lightly, the dark skinned woman shifted off the boxes she’d been sleeping on and slowly weaved her way through the pile of sleeping bodies all around her, heading out onto the main deck to breathe in the fresh night air.

The stars glittered like jewels above as Idysela approached the railing of the ship, gazing ahead at their path with the grand city of Limsa Lominsa in the distance. The backdrop of the sky seemed to make it glow, as if the riches of the imfamous pirates of the city lined the walls for decor.

The Xaela took a long deep breath and stared for just a few more moments before turning back, heading back down to get more sleep for the day ahead, no doubt to be filled with exhausting times and experiences, a spark of hope in her heart.*

And there’s just a little bit for ya! Now mind, not every post will be nearly as long, I just wanted to be sure you know I consider myself to be a competent writer! Also I want to quickly stage, I am 18 and all participants and characters must be 18 especially since I like to include mature scenes and such, with dark themes and plenty of stuff that I wouldn’t be comfortable with for any minor characters!
