Post Body

My main account got reminded of the existence of the Lexicon mini-RPG/writing exercise earlier this week, and I suspect that there are enough creative writers of smut around here that some folks might get a kick out of trying it.

The gist, for those who don't want to read the full rules (yet): those who participate will all commit about 2 months (52 days) to writing a series of 26 entries of at least 150 words, describing made-up events in the War of the Raging Libidos (because this is DirtyStoryWriting). On day 1, you write about something that begins with the letter A, and reference two things (yet to be) written by other players that begin with different letters. On day 2, you write about something that begins with the letter B, and now need 3 citations - one to one of the A articles written by somebody else, and two to things that don't yet exist (but might be already-existing phantoms). Continue working through the alphabet.

You can never cite something you wrote, and the facts that another writer says cannot be contradicted, although you can argue with the interpretation of those facts.

For example:

Ardor-quenching whiskey

One secret weapon used by the Estrogen Brigade was an especially potent whiskey. Records appear to indicate that, even when a small quantity was stirred into as much as a gallon of water, consumption of the brew would cause even a raging erection to instantly subside and the man in question to fall into a deep slumber, allowing the women of the Brigade to transmit intelligence, perform autoerotic acts, commit sabotage, or simply escape. Judicious application to the supplies of General Gawaine Commandus appears to have prevented a battle at the onset of the war, allowing time for the demoralized women of the Harlequin neighborhood time to regroup and fortify their positions.

Anybody interested? (I'll work out the rest of logistics - such as whether the mods would let us use the wiki here or if it would be better to go create our own sub for this - if there are enough takers. 3-5 besides me is about ideal.)
