Hey DSW!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am absolutely thrilled with the success this sub has seen. There are so many amazing prompts and we continue to grow steadily! This week I thought we could see how things are going on your end.

How is DSW working out for you? What can we do to help?

Do we have any of the problems that tend to occur on similar subs? We haven't seen any complaints of "ghosting". We have had zero reports of harassment which means either a) yay there is no harassment going on! or b) it just isn't being reported.

We are always looking to improve, but for that to happen we need to know what it is that you, the users, would like to see. Here are some things the mod team has coming up for you in the near future.

Post Flair - this is something a few of you have asked about. At this point it would probably be limited to "open" and "closed" flairs. Due to the nature of the sub we don't need chat or short term flairs as all of the posts should be long term rp. Is there anything else that would be helpful?

Monthly Calendar - we would love to be able to plan out October's calendar ahead of time. A couple of you have suggested themes, but we would like to have more to choose from. We are always open to new theme ideas to add to our list. Along with themes is there anything else that you would like to see? A Writer's Workshop? Critique Corner? We are planning to bring back the Round Robin event in the near future. If you participated in the last one, are there any improvements you would like to see?

Post Filters - this one is going to stay on hold for a while, along with theme post searches. Firstly, our posts are still moving slowly enough that theme posts pretty much stay on the front page for the entire week. Secondly, until Reddit's search functions stop being wonky we don't want to mess with it.
