It looked like a film set, the front of the house was in a strangely beautiful state of ruin. Ivy grew from the unkempt lawns and took hold of the stone that the naked eye could make out in the dim light. An iron wrought gate surrounded the entire estate, and in the middle of the modest mansion looking house was a tower, the top if it was flattened and marked with gold spires on each of the four corners, along with windows that looked out in the main cardinal directions. Some of the wooden decorative beams that were placed in the various balconies that were at the front facing side of the home had rotted away, some of the windows were covered with dark curtains.
The lawns themselves weren't very well maintained, it was overgrown and wildflowers had started to bloom in random places. Red roses decorated one small section, no doubt this was the owner's personal section. The steps at least seemed to be safe and sound, it didn't give way to any weight or forced placed on it. Without even knocking on the ivy covered door, it swung open with an almost unnatural force.
The interior was different, it was clean and free of dust, shockingly. The entrance of the home had a black carpet that rolled out down the hallway with gold embroidery that was not of that century. Along the neutral colored walls of the entrance were portraits of a family that had been treated with utmost care, the gold leafing of the frames were almost in pristine condition.
"E-Excuse me!" the expected guest called out. "I'm from the A-..."
The voice faltered a bit noticing something materializing from a strange thick black mist. The shape was fuzzy, but soon enough there was a mass of silver almost white hair, a pair of bight blue eyes against brown skin, and a simple long sleeved blouse with dark pants that were tapered to the ankles. The strode down the hallway with an inhuman grace, their black laced boots muffled by the thick black carpet. This was the fabled 'Silva of Lord Bleith von Vulf', their title was affectionately 'The Shadow of the Wolf' in an old tongue. None of the newer generation cared much for old titles. But all could agree at the beauty of the vampire, skin as brown as terra-cotta, with a beauty mark under the corner of their right lip. The rule was never to refer to them as 'she' just Silva. It was a strange rule that Lord Bleith had given long ago.
"You're from the Agency, right?" the vampire's voice was soft, their lips curved into a smile. "I was wondering when they'd send someone out."
"Y-Yes..." truth be told the vampire had been avoiding a inspection for a long time. "We sent you mail and tried to call a couple of times."
"Sorry about that, I uh... well I was asleep for some time," the vampire said rubbing the back of their neck a bit, looking away as if embarrassed. "You know, fasting?"
The Agency of Captive Vampires, or ACV for short, had been established long ago as a sect of Hunters that decided to pair a pack of werewolves to a coven of vampires, and over time any registered vampire had to be given a werewolf legal guardian. The two creatures kept one another in check, with vampires slowly losing their multitude in numbers considering vampires weren't something made through procreation. This vampire, Silva, was a special case having been bought long ago in an auction back when the black markets used to deal in the selling of magical creatures. Silva stayed in this home for as long as the family line of werewolf that bought her was alive.
"Ah yes, your five year fast..." the inspector noted something down in the little clipboard that they had brought with them. "Well, just be aware that the current head of the von Vulf house is coming to visit for a couple of weeks."
"Wait a minute, what do you mean visit?" the friendly tone changed immediately in the vampire. "That wasn't part of the r-"
"I understand, Silva, but you were asleep for some time and that made the Vulf house suspicious. It's just a wellness check. I need to make sure things are okay for the von Wulf member to stay here for several nights."
Silva felt the corner upper lip twitch, a wellness check? The only one that ever gave them a wellness check had died long ago. Bleith and his kind family that gave Silva a home and the warmth of a family connection they long had thought gone. Everyone else long after that generation passed in the family loved the allowance that they were given for "taking care" of Silva. Things had changed a lot. Silva did know, but never cared to speak out on it. They left the vampire alone enough to hunt on their own so long as they drank just enough.
"Not like I can say anything against it. Fine, just do your inspection and close the door on your way out."
The pact your great-great-great grandfather had made with a vampire that came from the western lands was something that almost felt like a fairytale to you growing up. That vampire was a friend and a protector, and someone your great-great-great-grandfather had considered to be like family. The generations that came after were less than friendly, and it seemed like Silva had been okay with it. Whether you wanted to or not, it was your duty to at least check on them once a year, and now that they were awake it seemed fitting to see them at least once in your life time.
Hey everyone!
So this is about a vampire, my character Silva, falling in love with your character, I'd prefer a slow build up to the romance. For this kind of setting your character has to be a werewolf.
Silva has a couple of secrets that they didn't share with anyone outside of the great-great-great grandfather and his immediately family. Maybe your character will discover them! I do like a little bit of drama and tension, it usually makes for a good build up to romance before the sex happens. Worldbuilding is something I am totally okay with as well. I'm okay with Urban fantasy, but most of the interactions are going to happen inside the house, whether or not your character decides to sleep there or just visit from a neighboring city.
who am I playing?
Silva refers to themselves as non-binary but it's their own customs and things from before they were turned (more on that later). They don't expect everyone to understand so it doesn't phase them to be called her/she, because they are still physically a woman. Silva's long hair is parted to the side sometimes, revealing a couple of faded tattoos from her youth and the shaved side. Otherwise they braid it, or put it in a ponytail. They smell like pine a lot, and love campfires. They're 5'3 with C-cup breasts and hips that are as wide as their shoulders, their skin is brown, and they have bright blue eyes that turn purple when they're hungry. They normally wear long white blouses and bind their chest with linen wraps, and wear black pants. Most of their time is spent in their study that's locked for reasons, or taking care of the old family portraits that were left behind to them.
other important things
I only roleplay on reddit and multi-paragraphs are alright! We all have our good and bad days. I hope you're okay with OOC stuff, sometimes I just feel like chatting and asking how you're doing.
Let me know if you have any ideas to incorporate into this roleplay. I'm not sure if I'll be making this a long term thing, considering I have some medical stuff going on. Please provide a description of your character.
