I have a feeling from the onset that this is going to be a long one so either buckle up or move along. These are the musings and wants of a dom for nearly twenty years. :)

“You know, you could be my dom...” six little words. Language is funny sometimes when you think of how six little words could lead to years of amazing friendship, intense sex, and wonderful companionship. And not just the one time. I've had some amazing fun and met even more amazing people both online and IRL over the last decade or so. All because of my love to talk to strangers.

To me, being a dom isn't just about rough, mind-blowing sex or kinky name calling and teasing. Those can certainly be elements of it, but (at least for me) it's more about getting to know a new person, learning what interests them and how they think, building trust, and having them relinquish their free will because of that trust. It's a process, but it's more genuine and meaningful than just playing pretend. I have found that oftentimes friends make the best lovers.

So, in that spirit of meeting new strangers and becoming new friends, here's a little bit about me. Generally speaking, I'm very detail oriented and a planner which is why I think I wound up in Project Management even though I went to school for English and Anthropology. I am an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy books. I also write a bit in my free-time, mostly genre fiction (while I enjoy doing research, I don't enjoy writing historically accurate details) and occasionally poetry if my muse sparks my imagination. In my free time I play video games, mostly RPGs or whatever multiplayer game my friends are into at the time. I also enjoy movies and anime and I'm always looking for more recommendations.

I think I'm most influenced by music though. If we get to know one another, you can expect me to send you at least a song a day. I can find pleasure in any genre and any style and my taste in music (much like my taste in people) is varied and somewhat random. I try to approach new things with a critical eye and an open mind because there is so much joy to be had in sharing new things with new people.

What I'm looking for in a new partner/friend/sexter is something new and exciting that gets my heart pumping and my brain firing. I want someone who makes me impatient waiting for their next message and feels like a victory if I can make them laugh. Someone who will offer me their time in return for my attention. Someone I can flirt with and tease while at work until there is so much tension we HAVE to release it when we get home or we'll both explode. Someone I can call “MY good girl” while she is being naughty.

I'm not afraid of broken or damaged things. I want to hear all about your problems and work on them together. I like the sad and the lonely. The outcast and downtrodden. Together, we're not alone. I'll be your world if you give me your focus. Even if it's purely over the wonders of the Internet.

Hopefully some of this made sense and the one or two of you who spent the time to read it all at least found it entertaining.
