Avery here! So I'm 22 with a 6 year old son. We have a modest apartment and we're doing okay for ourselves. People ask, how do you date, how do you have a sex life, it must be impossible, etc.
I still have a sexlife! Contrary to popular belief it is 100% possible. I'm not really one for dating, but I do have 4 or 5 friends that I'm genuinely close with, that hang out with me, my son, my friend group, that I also don't mind sleeping with. There's this huge stigma about omg what if he hears you, do you have to get a sitter....no. My son has sleepovers with his friends, mommy has sleepovers with hers. By having an open approach rather than being ashamed or hiding it, I've been able to maintain a healthy sex life with partners that are involved in my and my son's life outside of hooking up and it's awesome!
Not crazy naughty, just wanted to share that it's possible, and let me know if you'd like to chat about it!
