There is a corner of my consciousness in which sex is everything, everything, everything, all the time, and within that corner a universe that is, one might say, a vision of a very different world: One in which sex is everything, everything, everything, all the time, and one in which women not only know, but relish, their place in the hierarchy. It is a universe in which men nakedly state their desires and women obey them—not for fear of retribution, but as an act of agency driven by the inner hunger of their naturally submissive selves.

I am a married man, and happily so, with an amazing wife who understands my needs. I value family and consistency and honesty and moral character. I am a feminist—to the extent a straight-white male is capable of being one—who never doubts that a woman is my equal in all regards, to be judged by her character and her capabilities and nothing else.

And yet.

I continue to be driven by instincts derived from our ape ancestors… Male as hunter and female as gatherer; one dominant and the other submissive. I speak to, and write for, women with a need to withdraw from their higher-order conceptions of self and sink into this primordial sphere; who are aware of their worth but need it torn asunder; who own their existence but desire to be owned.

I thus write, and play, with the sole intention of digging into those primordial yearnings and providing pleasure. I use words to foster mental imagery, which provides a refuge from the burdens of a cluttered consciousness when the hour is late and the lights are out and a woman’s toys become her best friends. I create imagined landscapes in which the whole of your thoughts, fantasies, and desires are wiped clean, like a blank canvas, such that you can be rebuilt as a vessel hungry to satisfy my desires.

There is no conflict between these two sides of the self. One can exist as both a higher and lower-minded creature without sacrificing the value of either. Both are part of a greater whole.

So, slip inside my mind, if you feel drawn to it—read the words and sink into nothingness. Let your body tell you how badly it craves simplicity.
