Hi. I woke up and am having trouble falling asleep, so I'm looking for a woman with a comforting quality to share a voice call with to help me so I can fall asleep again.

Just to be clear, this post is marked NSFW, but that's because my profile is, and our call doesn't have to be. I would just love to listen to a woman's voice and enjoy that connection for tonight.

If you'd like to know a bit about me, I'm a 43-year-old man, single, and never been married. I'm a liberal, an Aquarius, and an INTP. I'm deeply introverted, and tend to be natirally shy and quiet, though I open up more once I get comfortable with someone.

I've studied English literature and film production, and I've written and directed short stage plays. I'm also trying to make the hustle to being a professional writer. I've written mostly short stage plays, short films, and short stories so far.

When it comes to hobbies, I enjoy watching movies of all kinds, playing D&D and other tabletop RPGs with my friends, and reading history, fantasy, sci-fi, and comic books. I'm more of a Marvel guy when it comes to comic books, but love DC's animated media. I'd currently reading the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. I also enjoy watching video essays and documentaries on YouTube.

My preference for a woman is one with a calming energy about her who can put me at ease. I've been told I have a soothing quality about me, so it'd be really nice to find a woman who shares that.

I'm not looking for a relationship, and I don't want to give or get any kind of pressure for something long lasting. This can be a one time thing if you'd like, or we can keep in touch if the vibes between us work out well, and that's also something you'd like too.

Also, if you look at my profile, I've recently started doing NSFW audio content. One reason why is because I do like the creativity of making such content, and the attention is pretty nice too. But it's usually a one-way thing of putting myself out there for others to listen to.

What I'd really like tonight though, is the back-and-forth of actual interaction, of being in the moment with someone and connecting by listening to what we have to say to each other. Listening to another's voice is, to me, is far more real than reading words on a screen - I don't feel as much of a person when I'm distilled to simple visual text. I’d rather we be more than that, at the very least voices in the darkness together. So that’s what I’m asking for tonight.
