Post title aside, I am and was just bi but you get the spirit of what I'm trying to say!
I had a few boyfriends back in school, but was truthfully never into them. Just felt like what I was supposed to do. I came out bi after college, dated a few girls casually, and then met my ex who I dated for several years and was engaged to. That all sort of made things "click" a bit more and by the time my engagement broke off I just considered myself a lesbian. I've always been a femme-looking tomboy, very focused on work and school, a very prototypical fairly successful, independent modern woman. I mostly only was interested in dating girls, and didn't really even have much in the way of many guy friends much less dating men. The breakup obviously was a bit of a rough time although I am mostly passed it and am not looking to talk about it.
A consequence of my breakup has been a big twist in my dating life. It's not just related to sexuality, but it was done so in a manner that was surprising to me but also a shock to people who know me, given my personality. I enjoy chatting about it, my sex life, and so on, even though I'm not a big sexter! Woman preferred but anyone welcome :)
