There's something about the idea of trance that's sort of simultaneously gentle and subtle overwhelmingly powerful that is just... really fucking hot. I love the fuzziness and the grey areas around the concept... sort of plays with the idea of want and desire by rendering them malleable in a really sexy and playful way.

I don't really have a lot of experience -- it's taken me a long time to think of my kink as anything other than a private pleasure -- but my partner and I have been talking about the kinds of sex we want but can't each other (she's interested in women, and is positive-about hypnosis and thinks it's pretty hot, but it's not *her thing* exactly...) -- and it feels like the right time to really explore this piece of myself.
