Mainly because Iām anxious about opening my living space to someone else; Iām very protective and my house is extension of my mindset and personality and I am very anxious about its organization and cleanliness, but Iām willing to relax my boundaries and inhibitions after a few drinks. He was unwilling to be patient for the hour it would take to get me drunk to come to my house, nor how people with ADHD tend to quadruple task, especially as busy PhD students with conference presentations, coursework and papers due next month.
