Drop-off in the morning was always a pain in the ass. I was always running late. One of them usually forgot their backpack, lunch, or one of the million things they have to bring these days. Most of all, I really hated most of the moms - always so bitchy and weirdly entitled. Today, however, is very different. Getting out of the car, I spot you across the parking lot. I’m not sure exactly what made you stand out but you did. You spotted me as well, clearly. We exchanged a long glance with each other across the parking lot. There was something about the glance. It wasn’t just passing. We both smiled at each other in recognition of what ever it was that caught our attentions. They were not wholesome smiles. “Quick, it’s time to become wholesome again, reset, gotta walk in,” I said to myself. Walking out of the school, we run into each other again. This time we stop to talk. The conversation immediately becomes intensely suggestive.  Were already fucking each other with our eyes. Is it obvious to the other parents? As we’re undressing each other in our minds, other moms are saying hello to you, stopping to talk with you.  It’s all mom stuff. I’m not paying attention.  The suggestion turns to the literal when you say I “should follow you home?” I agree and we’re off.
