Centuries ago, there lived an absolutely beautiful woman in a village. This village was almost completely isolated from the rest of the world, being built on a large patch of clear land within a dense forest. The woman was innocent, sweet, and caring. All she wanted from life was happiness. However, the other women of the village grew jealous of her, as she attracted the attention of all the men in the village due to her appearance and personality. This jealousy grew until they formed a mob one night and chased her out of the village and into the woods, telling her if she ever came back they would take her life. The woman was scared, lonely, and sad. She had never done anything to them, yet they held such hatred towards her. She didn't know what she could do, being ran out of her home. All she could do was attempt to live within the forest. She drank from the streams and ate the fruit the plants bore. She found a very large tree with a hollow base she could use for shelter. She soon befriended the animals of the forest as well, and was able to find some peace and live within nature. She never lost her sweet and caring nature, and cared for nature and animals as they cared for her. As the years went be she noticed something. Her reflection in the water never changed. Her body never felt tired or sick. She never seemed to age. As the years went by this continued, but she never forgot about what happened to her. She never got to meet and fall in love with a man. She began to cry. During this moment, the forest finished the transformation it had begun on her. She suddenly grew a pair of wings from her back. She became the protector, the mother, of the forest. She became a fairy. As time continued on, she kept on living as she had, never aging and staying young and beautiful forever. That isolated village she'd grown up in had long been lost. The people died from a disease and the village became abandoned. A few hundred years have passed. A handsome young man has heard the stories of the village. Curious, he steps foot into the forest in search of it. However, he soon becomes lost and is left wondering aimlessly for days, surviving on the fresh water from streams and fruit from the trees. As he begins to lose hope, he hears the soft beautiful voice of a woman call out to him. As he looks around, trying to find the source of the voice, the beautiful fairy gently floats down in front of him. "Don't be afraid, I am Elizabeth, fairy of the forest." She says with a smile. She has seen has handsome and senses how earnest the man is. She hopes she may get to finally experience that pure love she so desired all those years ago back in that village.
