Second caller of August 13 show: She and her husand are retired and have a 2% cash back card. She puts the $1800 she gets back every year into savings. She pays off the balance each month so she Never pays any interest on the card. "What's wrong with that?" she asks Dave and George. George said the $1800 cash back equates to $90,000 yearly spending. Then George asctually says: "You've probably spent close to $90,000 that you otherwise would not have".
Did George actually say that? YES, George said that.
I want to meet the person who can spend $7500/month on things that ordinarily would not have lol....definite first world problems.
