Piggybacking a bit off the NYT Bestseller thread, but was there a Ramsey book you actually found helpful? I know Total Money Makeover is their main one, but that wasn't where I started. I read The Complete Guide to Money, and after spending 5 years thinking we were just going to be stuck with student loans for the rest of our lives, it honestly changed my perspective. I didn't even know he had a radio show until later.
I got TMM on one of their $10 sales, but was not impressed with it after reading Complete Guide, so I gave it away. I haven't bought any of their other books.
Total Money Makeover is the only one I've ever read and I think its a fine book, not too preachy and way before where MAGAfest Dave is now.
