Like the title said, I grew up very conservatively, with that came an ingrained sense of shame around anything sexual. Because of that, I didn't date even in college because "dating was for marriage only" and I never met anyone in there I wanted to marry. I threw myself in my career the last decade or so and really didn't have much of a social life. I know I'd like to start dating and trying to get over this idea of shame of sex, but not entirely sure how. Looking to chat with anyone who may have experienced this or has any ideas on how I can go from being sex negative and ashamed, to sex positive.
