Secrets and confessions seem to be all the rage in a community like this, so let me share mine with you. I'm a sex-shifter.
I'm among the very tiny portion of humans - no one knows exactly how many - who has the ability to induce a shift in my physical sex. I was born male, so I can shift into a female form and then back again. Otherwise I'm really just a regular guy, not super masculine, not super feminine. This doesn't turn me into an entirely different person, more like what I'd look like if I'd been born female, like a sibling with a very strong resemblance. This whole process takes a bit of time - it's not like poof and suddenly I'm different - and from the earliest days of being able to do this, I've been able to localize the change to just a part or parts of me if I wish.
That's the 30-second elevator-pitch version of back story, but I'm sure you're going to have follow-up questions, if you're even willing to suspend your disbelief enough to message me. Good news, though, because I'm in a mood to answer them. I guess you could say this has always been a constant part of my life, but sometimes it's just a thing I can do and it doesn't really factor into my daily life. Other times it's almost like a manic phase or something where it becomes a really powerful urge.
So bring your curiosity my way if you'd like to know more. I can't guarantee every answer will be exciting, but I'll give you the realistic lens into the ways this has had an effect on my life.
