Hi! My name is Johnny. I'm a goofy, big-hearted, big boned guy who loves to smile and laugh. I enjoy talking with many different types of people all across the world from all backgrounds. If you are from outside of the US, you can jump straight to the front of the line haha.
My hobbies are nerdy, geeky, and a good mix of social and solo. Writing, playing games, both video and tabletop, recording, composing, and listening to music, hosting and cooking for friends and family, programming, cycling, adventuring, restaurant hopping solo or with family and friends, (sometimes) social campaigning, and going to concerts.
I'm starting my first term as a computer science student going for my bachelor's and possibly masters in the future. I've got a pretty laid-back schedule despite that, due to the nature of my current job, which allows me to do whatever I want while I'm at work. I respond fairly quickly, if I'm not too busy, and I enjoy long form text responses!
I'm not looking for anything complex, and I don't want either of us to have high expectations. We are both human after all. All I ask is that you meet some important criteria:
You know how to hold a conversation and communicate. This means you know how to ask questions, can switch topics, can voice your opinions, can express your feelings, and are genuinely interested in getting to know one another.
You want to be friends first and foremost, and you want some benefits. You don't want things to get complicated and you are okay with walking away if things start to look complicated.
You are relatively emotionally stable. We all have some things we are dealing with, I am no stranger to it, but I want to know that we are going to be on the same level emotionally. This means that if you are the type of person who bites people's heads off at the first sign of rejection, we will not be good friends.
That's about it for me! Have a good day/night and stay safe out there 🖤
