Wrong. Something was wrong. I couldn't quite tell what, but something definitely felt not right. My hands moved on the table at my left, but I couldn't quite get myself what I was touching at that moment.

I moved my hand tentatively, exploring a bit the consistency of the object that was near me, as I suddenly felt something pinching my finger!

I instinctively retract my hand, surprised, my mind still not perfectly awake, for forcibly made so rightatn this moment. I open my eyes, looking directly at the source that caused now my slight pain on my middle finger.

I looked hard at the strange devide right in front of my same eyes. The clock was familiar enough for me to understand it was similar to an old allarm clock, but it was alien enough to barely being able to understand how it even worked. There seemed to be no elettric wire attached to it, only the small crystalline formating shining as it sounded. I guess before, I got my fingers pinched on the gears on it. I tried to close it how an old clock would be done with, by pressing the top of it. The crystal slowly shined less and less, the rumor of the allarm fading as well.

I was a bit unnerved, as I looked around me. The apartment in general seemed...old. Some of the plaster on the walls was peeling off. The light from the room was coming from a naked lightbulb, attached to a wire. But more than a lightbulb and a wire...it was more like a rope attached to a small piece of metal, something inside emitting the light. The light opened also made me notice that it was twilight outside, and not the morning as I thought, soon the sun setting off for the night. On the ground, some trash was left lying. Some cigarettes were lying half-finished on the ground, a pack of them, on top of the bed I was in right now. I could smell a certain small acre odor all around the apartment, even if I couldn't pierce what it was.

The sheets of the bed were very thin, and the bed, a simple wooden frame with something that I couldn' t quite get, acting as a mattress. There was no cushion as well.

As I catched a glimpse of a strange woman, right in front of me, I get a bit embarassed, covering my eyes for a bit. But then, as I lower my hands again, I look a bit harder at the image right in front of me. What could I see, more in details? How did her face looked like? Her body?
