Like so many others out there, I’m seemingly interminably trapped in the “monotony of monogamy.” Not quite the “dead bedroom” kind of misery… but pretty damn close. At least the kind characterized by tossing and turning at night because of deprivation (IYKYK), punctuated by the occasional, lame duty-sex that’s over almost as soon as it starts.
I don’t need counseling, advice, or judgment and chastisement at this point in my >25 year otherwise-happy marriage.
I need air. I need water. And I need sex. Getting the first two, but despite all my love, attention, affection, patience and time… I’m struggling to find an outlet for the third.
So, I guess that makes me the “bad guy.” Ok then. I guess I am…
