Hey guys,

Pretty new rider here, been loving motorcycles for a long time but life got in the way and only now I'm finally ready to buy one.

So these days I was thinking about doing an off-road trip with some camping gear and what not.

And basically my plan so far is to get a 250-300 cc enduro bike (I'm thinking KTM EXC-F or a Sherco), slowly rebuild it and take it out by mid to late summer for a long trip in Europe 5.000 to 8.000 Kms.

I realize that enduro bikes are made for enduro and the off-road/mixed tires vibrations will probably kick my ass. I'm ready to accept punishment for that but if you have any input I would be super interested in hearing 🙂

My biggest worries are engine stress, precautions I should take and maybe some gear that I would probably live better with.

How feasible is my idea?
