As you'll see from my post history I don't often complain about the DTVN beta service and have been enjoying it a lot. Tonight is the first time I've been really disappointed with the beta app. My girlfriend wanted to record the season premiere of Trading Spaces on TLC at 8. I set the recording last night and chose a series recording, and "new episodes" only. I figured it worked...it does not. I had no idea there was a Trading Spaces marathon on today. My DTVN DVR recorded every single one of the episodes today, which filled up my DVR and deleted everything else that I had recorded (because I only have 20 hours). So when I went to check tonight to see if her show recorded, my DVR was full of Trading Spaces and everything else was gone. :( Maybe "new episodes" means ones you don't already have recorded?? Kind of a real bummer as there was stuff I had not got around to watching yet along with a few movies. Oh well, I REALLY hope they get this fixed before a public release.
