I wanted to wait a bit since every time a paleo documentary comes out people take it as a flawless piece of work because producers always sneak in "the latest in science" or something along those lines. I only saw the parts with pachycephalosaurus & Trex, yet I noticed flaws and improbabilities.
First; all of the ornithischians they depicted had cheeks but for some reason pachycephalosaurus is the exception. I've worked with birds (no teeth) and they all have soft tissue cheeks in the interior of their beak. Almost all ornithischians had a ridge on the interior if their jaw, like modern herbivorous mammals. This ridge is covered by cheeks. The ridge gives the interior of the mouth space to assist in mastication.
Cheeks are soft tissue that doesn't fossilize, but we do have undeniable evidence in an ankylosaurid that had a fossilized osteoderm in its cheeks (osteoderm only grow on skin). This, along with ornithischians chewing dentition, and convergence evolution of the ridge with herbivores mammals, points to speculation placing cheeks on pachycephalosaurus.
The second point that I found annoying was a maybe 500lbs pterosaurs scaring away a maybe 10 ton apex predator. CMON.
The pterosaur likely hunted on the ground maybe similar to herons. There's a vulture in Africa that's taller than an African lion in a resting pose, can spread its wings to look bigger and the mass difference between the vulture and a female lion is comparable to that of a large trex & the largest pterosaur. The vulture is taller, can spread its wings to look huge and theoretically can poke out a lions eyes. But no way 10 of those vultures are making a lone female lion leave her meal. It was theatrical drama to shock audiences with a scenario I've seen people beleive to be accurate.
Rant over for now 🤣
