I've contacted SeaBank customer support many times thru their chart support (9/20, 9/23, 9/25, 10/11) and told me not to worry as these overseas double charge happens and I'll get my refund once the transaction is cleared.
Last Oct 3-10, I've emailed UNIQLO Japan CS and assured me with this response:
"Regarding your inquiry about the transaction, we have confirmed that there was no double charge on your card at UNIQLO.
Therefore, please rest assured that for this shopping, only one 6,700 yen amount is billed.
If the charge is displayed twice in your usage history, we are unable to confirm the details in UNIQLO side, therefore, please kindly contact your credit card company."
This is the 4th week or 16th banking day since my 1st contact with Seabank about my concern and still no progress.
This is not the first time the happened. A previous redditor posted.
With the same concern as I have. Next time for overseas transaction just use gcash debit card. This is frustrating.
