Hey good people of r/DigitalMarketing!
As a budding young marketing professional, I am trying to find the niche that I can best dig into, so I have been doing a lot of research into the different areas of digital marketing. It has been surprisingly challenging to find a comprehensive overview of the subject, but I think I just came across a great source.
If you google the Digital Marketing Aptitude Test, you will find a website with the following categories of skills (the front page only lists 8 for some reason, but then they go on to list these 12)
- Market Research
- Digital Marketing Strategy
- Data Analytics & Performance Marketing
- CRM & Marketing Automation
- Search Engine Optimisation
- Digital Advertising
- Digital Content Marketing
- Digital Copywriting
- Social Media Marketing
- Web Development, UX & UI
- Ecommerce
- Mobile Channel and Apps
As the title of this post asks, does anybody think that this list is missing anything or could it be better organized? From my research and understanding of the field, this seems like a very nice overview of Digital Marketing, but again, I am very new to the game!
