I own an online retail shop that sells merchandise that I buy from suppliers. I'm very small, operate the shop myself and have been running brand recognition ads on Facebook and Instagram. The ads are going well, so my overall business is doing fine. I would like it to do a little better, and specifically I would like some of my great merchandise to sell better. Can I copy my supplier's ads to sell their products?
For example, I have in stock some lighted dog harnesses made by a particular company. They've been running ads on Facebook for them (along with some human merchandise that they also make). Is it unethical or infringement if I copy one of their dog harness ads to try to boost sales of the ones I have in stock?
