I graduated with a degree in Accounting. I got a couple temp jobs, and I hate it. I decided this is the kind of direction I want to go in. I want to be in the entertainment industry, whether it be actors, bands, or even web stars. I want to manage people and make people famous, I want to make other people's talent expressed across the world, I want to make other people's dreams possible, if that makes any sense. I've thought about Arts Administration as well, but it's a little more diverse and it would probably be better for me to go to graduate school for it, (which I've also heavily considered) but honestly at this point I just want to get a job in a field that I feel 100% comfortable in first and THEN learn and develop more skills, slowly rising to the top and making even more money.
I'm 24, and as you can tell I have a big imagination lol. I think I have a lot going for me. Coupled with my education, I'm already experienced in managing/financing/marketing my own band for several years, and I get to express the art of not only the music but the marketing of it. We're obviously not rock stars or anything but being able to see your content reach out to other people is fascinating. Also right now I'm taking a udemy course taught by a certified Google SEO Marketer. My mom is even the head accountant of a marketing firm, even though she doesn't do marketing herself.
Anyway, I just want to ask if I'm heading on the right path. I'm not really sure what the steps to getting there is, but I somehow found myself in this sphere of business and it seems like it's extremely similar to what I want to do as a career
