I have been using a sandisk clip for what feels like a decade until my dumbass accidentally put it through the washing machine. I'm not looking at getting something new. I have been considering the Sony NW-A307. I would be degoogling it and removing all of the bloatware as i hear this removes the most annoying aspects of it (speed and battery life).

I mainly have my music as mp3s, but having android would be helpful as i could add a C25K jogging app to it, and possibly an app for podcasts(I've never really podcasted so if anyone has any recommendations there, i'd be downloading them, not using wifi), also if theres anything else anyone has to suggest that might be helpful to have on there, let me know. I am also wondering if it has radio functionality without wi-fi? This would be cool but not entirely necessary. I also use the cheapest earphones i tend to find at my local shop as i tend to break them fairly often, so i'm not worried about powering those or using bluetooth to connect to wireless ones.

If there is an alternative that might suit me better i'm all ears, but if not if there is a case that i can clip it to my pocket liek a sandisk anyone is aware of i'd be very grateful.

Finally, does anyone have any experience using FromJapan.co.jp? I am thinking of buying from there as the Japanese version is not capped and using FromJapan the price is significantly cheaper.

EDIT: Oh, also to avoid any comments about why i'm not just using my phone. my phone is a Nokia 2660. I'm pretty anti-smartphone.
