Do trophies and battles stack between evolutions?

I have a MegaSeadramon and I'm shooting for Metal Seadramon. The requirements I see on the evolution chart are 20 trophies, 20 battles with a 70% win.
My question is do trophies and battle history count from rookie onward? Currently I have 29 trophies on this mon (though only 7 from Mega, the rest were from Sangomon and Seadramon).
I'm sitting at 14/3 battle (so 17 total).
Am I good on trophies and only need 3 more battles? Or is each requirement per evolution stage so I'd need 13 more trophies on this evolution?
Also in this case does it even matter since the only other path would be Plesiomon but I have not cleared stage 15 so there's only one possible evolution anyway?
