What's the best advice for going to shops?

Post Body

So here's my issue I currently have, I live in a state where I don't have any local shops that does digimon. My local shop just got some product in, RB-01, Melga and Wargrey starter decks, getting EX-07 and those starter decks soon. But we don't have any real community for digimon. It's really just me and my best friend that moved away so now it's just me that only plays digimon in person at my local shop. I've been wanting to play more in person paper events and see how they are and how they are played and see how the prizing is cause I've never had any chance for that and see how it is. I have been thinking to be moving around either the Colorado Springs area or possibly the Asheville, NC area for digimon events. I mainly do commander at my local shop, some pokemon and lorcana but that was with my best friend when they were still down here. But I've been wanting to see what are some things that could help me prepare myself to go to "locals" and how to enjoy myself having in person events and all. It may seem weird to ask but the way my mental health is I could possibly get overwhelmed by having all this being able to do and play the game more. I want to be able to enjoy playing the game more than just having a couple decks in paper and have nothing to do with them. Thank you for your time.

Unrelated note: is there anyone in the Colorado Springs area? That's the one I've been more leaning towards to be moving towards.
