Help Upgrading Dragon of Courage Precon

Post Body

Hi everyone,

New player here. Played my first couple rounds last week and am looking to upgrade my Dragon of Courage precon deck, following some advice from some of the other players I met.

I’m looking to build toward something like the Wargrey Toolbox deck on digimoncard.io (https://digimoncard.io/deck/wargrey-toolbox-71262), but need some help understanding a few things.

This deck uses red Koromons but also includes black Agumons. To play a black Agumon I need to either digivole off of a black Koromon or just hard play it right? I can’t digivolve a black Agumon from a red Koromon, correct?

If I want to keep both black and red Agumons, would it be better to have both black and red Koromons? That way I could possibly digivolve both for free, but I may also need to hard play both, depending on how my draws go. Or is it better to just use one colour of Koromons?

Then, if I digivolve an Agumon into, say, a black/red Greymon can it further digivole into either colour? So could my digivolution go black Koromon - black Greymon - black/red MetalGreymon - red WarGreymon?

Finally, a question about the X Antibody cards. A Greymon (X Antibody) can digivolve into just a regular MetalGreymon right? It doesn’t need to digivolve into a MetalGreymon (X Antibody)?

Thanks!
