So I have a decent size fleet im quoting services for and they have trucks scattered around. I do the odd service for a few customers with just some buckets and then pump the waste into pales but for sake of time and mess this isn't really an option. I'm wondering what some of you guys use for oil recovery and catching filters in customer yards?
I'm planning on switching the pans over to the "no-spill" oil drains but not sure if i should invest in pumps or just run the drain lines into oil pans and then pump from the pan into my waste tank. just curious how some of you are doing it - spill mitigation is the big one here because of where some of these trucks are parked
Also.. a large majority of this fleet is cummins 2350/2450s in LT chassis's and getting the fuel filter out without making a mess seems to be a nightmare.. any products out there to help mitigate the fuel mess? thanks!
